Our Story 

We met in 6th grade at Franklin middle school, sitting next to each other in band class. (We both played trumpet!) Friendship turned to a crush which turned into middle school boyfriend and girlfriend where our parents would drop us off at the movie theatre, mall, and so on to spend time together.

We went our separate ways and to different high schools but remained on each others radars through cross country meets always cheering each other on!

Freshman year of college at the University of Iowa we happened to be in the same literature class and we were paired as partners. From there (we had phones this time, haha) we exchanged contact info and spent time together getting breakfast after class and having picnics along the Iowa river at the back of the of the IMU.

 

We once again parted ways until 3 years later when we would begin talking yet again during COVID during our senior year of college as everything was shutting down. Zoom meetings every night turned to dates in person, and we have been inseparable ever since.

We are so excited to tie the knot and celebrate with all of our favorite people in one room!
